The core research team of PreServe are permanent staff members in the undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Environment, where since 2022 they have contributed courses such as Environment and Cultural Monuments, Environmental Impacts on Works of Art, and Management of Natural and Cultural Heritage.
The Lab members have also played a key role in the education of students in the former undergraduate programme Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art (TEI of the Ionian Islands), supervising a wide range of dissertations on:
- materials and techniques
- preventive conservation and storage of collections
- documentation, bibliography and digital libraries
- environmental parameters and heritage management
- education and museum-learning programmes
- professional identity and visibility of the conservator.
