Under the Erasmus + Program, the European Commission grants student and staff mobility to improve skills, to modernise education and training and to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and employability.

The Department of the Environment of Ionian University is funded for these scholarships through IKY, the National Coordinating Unit for the Program.

The Department of the Environment of Ionian University participates in the LLP / ERASMUS Program with the following activities:

• Mobility of teaching staff for teaching / training
• Mobility of administrative staff for training
• Student mobility for studies
• Student mobility for internship

The Erasmus + activities related to students are as follows:

Student mobility for studies
Students are normally enrolled in the Department of Environment of Ionian University in undergraduate programme.

Eligible student mobility period for studies is from 3 to 12 months.

Student mobility for internship
The right to participate has undergraduate students and doctoral candidates who are normally enrolled in Department of Environment of Ionian University, as well as recent graduates.

These actions are carried out at European universities or institutions with which the Department has concluded a bilateral agreement.
