The procedure is in accordance with the provisions of Ministerial Decree No : Φ.2 / 121871 / Β3 / 3-11-2005 "Graduates rank in Higher Education", as amended by No.: Φ.2 / 125186 / Β3 / 22-11-2006, Φ.2 / 63260 / Β3 / 15-6-2007, Φ.1 / 192329 / Β3 / 13-12-2013 and 92983 / Ζ1 / 11-06-2015 (Government Gazette 1329 / Β / 02-07-2015) Ministerial Decisions and Law No . 4485, article 74 par. 3 (Government Gazette 114 / 4-8-2017).
Eligible to qualifying examinations are University graduates, TEIs or equivalent, graduates from ASPETE, from Greece or abroad (the latter must be formally recognised by DOATAP) as well as holders of two-year degrees, which are organised under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs or other Ministry.
In particular, all graduates of AEI, TEI or equivalent, ASPETE from Greece or abroad, as well as holders of higher education degrees of two-year courses overseen by the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs and other Ministries, irrespective of subject matter, can be admitted in any University Department, TEI or ASPETE. This is with the exception of the Departments that have been abolished under the “Athena Plan” and are still in transition until 2018; they do not accept any graduates from this examination route.
The admission’s examination takes place at the department of concern, and the whole process is carried out in the Department to which the candidates apply. The successful examination results in admitting to the programme of the particular Department and only.
