Intended Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the MSc “Preservation & Management of Cultural Heritage,” graduates are expected to have achieved the following learning outcomes:

  1. Be capable of engaging in research and professional practice in the broader fields of conservation, curation, and protection of monuments and cultural heritage artifacts.
  2. Be able to participate in research teams and contribute to the advancement of the relevant scientific field.
  3. Possess comprehensive scientific knowledge in the areas of conservation and management of monuments and organic, inorganic, or composite artefacts, enabling them to contribute to the documentation and mitigation of their deterioration.
  4. Be able to assess problems that may arise in monuments and movable cultural heritage artefacts as a result of natural disasters and climate change in general.
  5. Be capable of recording, monitoring, and evaluating environmental deterioration factors affecting monuments and artefacts.
  6. Be able to document monuments and movable artefacts using contemporary methods and new technologies, and to utilize such data for the promotion and dissemination of cultural heritage.
  7. Be qualified to design and implement educational programmes at all levels of education, with a primary focus on the conservation and management of cultural heritage.
  8. Be capable of curating and supervising permanent or temporary exhibitions related to cultural heritage.
  9. Be able to document and process cultural data pertaining to both tangible and intangible cultural heritage
