Teaching in Environmental Studies

The course focuses on the following issues: the concept of scientific and environmental literacy, learning theories in the field of environmental sciences with an emphasis on constructivism, the role of the emotional factor in learning, the role of non-formal education in environmental science education, main teaching tools with particular emphasis on the use of new technologies, and the role of the systems approach in teaching environmental issues.
