Academic AdvisorsTo ensure effective support to postgraduate students through their studies and their professional careers, the J.P.S.P “New Technologies for Environmental Education and Sustainable Development” provides consultation through the Academic Advisors, positions analogous to the ones in force for the Undergraduate Programs of Study (BA/BSc) at the Department of Environment (Faculty of Environmental Sciences) and the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of (Faculty of Music and Audiovisual Arts), Ionian University.The responsibilities of an Academic Advisor are included (but not limited) in the list below:·      

  • provides clarifications on courses and the ways to consult the infrastructure of the J.P.S.P (e.g. Secretariat, library resources, etc.)      
  • counsels on curriculum structure and course syllabi/material     
  • advises on the syllabi of elective courses with the aim of assisting students in choosing courses that are closer to their personal and academic interests      
  • supports students who encounter academic difficulties during their course of study and offering high-quality academic counseling in collaboration with the Program Committee, the Coordinating Committee and/or the Secretariat      
  • guides per decisions relevant to the diploma thesis topic      
  • provides directions for transition to Doctoral Studies in Greece or overseas      
  • offers clarifications on career prospects after obtaining the postgraduate degree
