Upon completion of the Joint Postgraduate Studies Program (J.P.S.P.) “New Technologies in Environmental Education and Sustainable Development,” degree holders will be able to:
- identify the basic tenets of Philosophy of Education within the context of the environment and sustainable development,
- comprehend the interdisciplinary lens of Environmental Education from a theoretical, technological and creative point of view,
- develop course outlines and/or lesson plans for Environmental Education with the objective of promoting sustainable development,
- creatively process notions and concepts relevant to Environmental Education and Sustainable Development, which can then be encoded for the synthesis of contemporary and complex audiovisual and artistic representations,
- apply current/recent educational practices, teaching techniques and research methodologies within the scope of Environmental Education,
- disseminate the results of research into Education Studies, not only within their educational and work environment, but also for the benefit of a wider audience.
