The Department is housed in a state-of-the-art, newly constructed building (completed in 2012) with a total covered area of 5,500 m², located 2.8 km from the city centre, and complemented by additional peripheral functional spaces of approximately 3,000 m².
The building is fully equipped with advanced electromechanical support systems, including central air conditioning, automation systems, fire safety infrastructure, elevators, a power generator, a central UPS system, wireless Wi-Fi network, video projectors, and full accessibility infrastructure for persons with disabilities.
The facilities include:

12 fully equipped laboratories with modern equipment and the ability to support teaching activities,

small and large lecture halls,

an auditorium,

a design studio,

auxiliary spaces (such as offices for visiting professors, Erasmus students, meeting rooms, and a cafeteria),

a sufficient number of offices for academic staff and administrative services,

a library with a reading room,
-
a student restaurant located adjacent to the Department’s facilities.
In addition, the building is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure to support distance learning activities, whenever required.
